The Department of Economics in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for two continuing-track (non-tenure track), full-time faculty positions. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate introductory micro and macroeconomics, intermediate macroeconomics, and upper-division elective courses. Candidates must be committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching and to scholarly research. There is no promotion requirement with this position though there are opportunities for promotion in rank. The standard teaching load is six courses per year, and continuing-track faculty are expected to remain scholarly active. Applicants must expect to complete a PhD in Economics or related field by the end of August of 2021. These are full-time faculty positions with renewable two-year contracts (contract length increases after year six).
