Job Summary

Intern - Manufacturing Process will have the opportunity to assist technicians and engineers in the troubleshooting, development, and implementation of new processes to support pSemi's technology roadmap. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in manufacturing process engineering within a semiconductor environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:

  • Assist in data analysis and coding to improve yield, cost, cycle time, and capacity.
  • Support the development and implementation of process control techniques and procedures.
  • Contribute to the analysis of manufacturing process development.
  • Provide support for troubleshooting technical problems.
  • Assist in establishing and implementing operator processing specifications.
  • Support leadership in ensuring operators are well-trained and following documented work procedures.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Process Engineering Technicians in assigned area.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing demands and tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with wafer backgrinding and die singulation processes.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), process optimization techniques, FMEA, etc.
  • Python or similar
  • Microsoft Office tools
  • AutoCAD

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds in the office, lab or cleanroom.

USD 23.13 - 47.84 per hour
