Position Details
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Employs the case-based learning pedagogical strategy for the anatomical sciences in a system based medical curriculum.
- Activities include small group discussions of defined learning topics that focus on clinically oriented anatomical concepts with selective embryological correlations.
- Collaborates with students in the development, implementation, and evaluation of community engaged research.
- Works with the Executive Vice Dean to develop programs that educate, recruit, and retain a diverse and multicultural constituency and promote an inclusive climate and a culture of equity.
- Engages in scholarly activities and participate in collaborative diversity and inclusion efforts across the medical school.
- Participates in the submission of educational modules to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) MedEdPORTAL serving as the primary author on one module.
- Facilitates small group sessions as part of the Healing, Humanism, Health Equity (HHH) doctoring course.
- Candidate must hold a M.D. or Ph.D. and have completed a minimum of one year in post graduate training
