Our mission is to accelerate research and discovery by providing the highest quality products at an outstanding value, along with superior customer service and technical support.As part of the technical support team you will be an essential point of contact for BioLegend's customers, advising on the use of our products and services, and helping answering questions and customer concerns. This position is available to local and remote candidates.

Essential Functions

  • Answer technical questions related to our TotalSeq product line, as used in single-cell genomics workflows and data analysis
  • Prioritizing customer requests to provide technical information and troubleshooting help via telephone and emails and customer follow up
  • Utilizing scientific skills to provide product related education to the customers, and help to identify potentially non-conforming products based on available data
  • Contribute to updating scientific content on the company website in terms of product data sheets and web tools
  • Careful and diligent documentation of all technical issues according to our ISO 13485:2016 certified quality management system requirements
  • Other projects or responsibilities as may be required

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • Candidate must have a minimum degree of a B.S in Immunology, Biology, Cell Biology, Genomics, or related field.
  • One year or more of hands on experience in single-cell genomics applications, including basic data analysis. Ideally, experience in other cell analysis techniques such as flow cytometry is desired

Preferred Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • PhD in related field. Experience will be considered in substitution of PhD education.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in additional applications such as cell separation, cytokine analysis and western blotting.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000-$95,000/year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.

Work Environment & Physical Demands - Office

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. Occasional exposure to a laboratory and warehouse environment.
