The Undergraduate School of Business of the Kelce College of Business at Pittsburg State University invites applications for a tenure-earning Assistant Professor position in Computer Information Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities will include CIS courses at the undergraduate level with a standard load of three courses per semester.
Additional expectations include producing intellectual contributions commensurate with expectations of an AACSB-accredited institution, and providing service to the University and profession.
Education and Experience
Required Education and Experience – Time of Hire:
Doctorate in Management Information Systems (or closely-related discipline) from an accredited university.
Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching and scholarly activity and also meet minimum requirements for AACSB faculty qualification. Applicants with ABD status will be considered.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Special consideration will be given to candidates in the fields of systems design, web application development, and mobile application development.
Experience with SAP interface programming is a plus.
