A research lab is recruiting postdoctoral fellows, research scientists and technicians to study neurodegenerative diseases using genetically engineered rats as relevant models for motoneuron disease, frontotemporal dementia, and Parkinson’s disease.
Candidates who have received adequate training on molecular biology, neuropathology, or mouse genetics are invited to apply. Preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with two or more of the following techniques: histology, neuropathology, stereological cell counting, RNA sequencing, RNA in situ hybridization, Northern blotting, and RNA immunoprecipitation.
The laboratory is just moved to Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies (TPIMS) that is recently owned by Florida International University.
Interested persons are invited to email application to Dr. Xugang Xia at email@example.com
