As a Senior Modeling and Simulation Analyst, you will...
Analyze, evaluate, and model communications system performance supporting strategic and national command and control missions in peacetime and stressed (wartime) scenarios.
- Analyze and evaluate current and recent past performance of designated communications systems. Compare this data to appropriate operational requirements. Identify performance gaps. Provide detailed, prioritized recommendations to enhance system performance.
- Analyze statistical data representing the performance of communications systems. Develop, set up, and run study scenarios using computer simulations and available data.
- Document analysis results in formal reports, brief results to various military commands.
You meet the minimum qualifications for this position if you have:
PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, EE or related field.
10 years professional experience.
Experience includes a strong Modeling and Simulation background with statistical analysis.
Good problem solving skills and oral / written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and across a multi-organizational team.
An ability to travel on a limited basis.
An ability to obtain a TS clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
You’ll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you have:
Military operational communications systems analysis experience and computer programming skills (familiarity with UNIX, LINUX, MATLAB, C, C++, FORTRAN, and Java).
Knowledge of computer network modeling and attack analysis.
Active TS Clearance.
