  • Ownership of 20 photo layers in both DUV and iline tool set including NSR, DUV 248 and 193nm ASML.

  • Focus on his/her owned layers' process development and improvement to sustain Palmer and Libra production as well as support Leo B, Leo C launch.

  • Data analysis between product performance and wafer process parameters for his/her ownership layers.

  • Understand device structures, especially capacity enterprise products such as Libra and Leo from GO wafer fab is a plus.

  • Able to conduct data analysis and data correlation to establish cause – effect relationship, and to recommend improvement actions for photo related excursions.

  • Work on key reader and writer photo processes to sustain and improve process, and to support production line. Trouble-shoot line issues. Conduct defect analysis, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions in short period of time.

  • Present project plan and summary, document processes and procedures, instruct technicians, and train operators.


  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in wafer processing and process development, preferably in magnetic head photo lithography manufacturing.

  • MS/PhD degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, or a related field.

  • Experience of SPC process control as well as 6 sigma approach.

  • Analytical, logical, and data-driven, and demonstrated ability in analyzing big data in decision-making process using tools such as database query and JMP

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Able to work and interact with various interdepartmental engineering and other support organizations.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects with set milestone and timeline, and ability to execute under minimal supervision.

  • A responsible team player. Detail-oriented and willingness to learn and thrive in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.
