The Department of Physics, within the College of Arts and Sciences at the Ohio State University, seeks a Post Doctoral Scholar to join our Experimental High Energy effort on the ATLAS experiment at CERN for a short term of approximately 7 weeks, non-extendable. This postdoc position will be based at Argonne National Lab for the duration.
The postdoc is expected to continue OSU's collaboration with Argonne National Lab in the EF tracking project for the ATLAS upgrade. Experience with FPGA development and the EF tracking project is required.
The ATLAS group at Ohio State operates within one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive public research universities, with two of the country’s leading physics and astronomy departments. The university’s Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics facilitates close collaboration between the physics and astronomy departments on dark matter research and other topics.

Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in experimental particle physics by the time of appointment. The pay range for this job profile is $48,000 - $48,000. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
