C++ Developer required to join expanding company which develops geometric software components that enable key funtionality in CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM applications, including sketching, part and assembly modelling, motion simulation and hidden line visualisation. You will work on a product which enables the use of dimensions and constraints to position parts in assemblies and mechanisms, control the shape of parts and produce 3D sketches. You will use your mathematical skills to develop software algorithms to solve geometric modelling problems and find imaginative and robust solutions to problems involving both analytic and parametric geometries. Delivering projects on time and to a high standard, you will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle from design through development to testing.
You must have outstanding C++ skills, mainly on a Windows platform, although there will be some work on Unix. In addition, you will be educated to PhD level, ideally in Mathematical Sciences.
