You will be expected to perform the technical aspects of both sales and applications support to a wide variety of customers, both commercial and academic, across a broad range of scientific disciplines. Part of a small team in the UK, you will need to use both your technical and interpersonal skills to help customers understand how COMSOL Multiphysics will address their needs.

Key tasks will include:

-working with the sales team - you will assist them in understanding customer requirements and then demonstrating the features and capabilities of COMSOL Multiphysics and how they meet the requirements
-preparing and delivering proof-of-concept models and presentations - this could include PowerPoint slide presentations and live demonstrations of COMSOL Multiphysics
-supporting customer evaluations
-liaising with technical marketing and support at COMSOL Headquarters in Sweden
-providing training classes, both public and on-site customer courses

Qualifications
-An MSc, PhD or equivalent in applied physics or chemical engineering from a leading university
-Experience of using mathematical modelling tools
-Outstanding communications skills

The position will require frequent traveling in the UK and a current driving license is essential. There will be occasional overseas travel to COMSOL’s Headquarters in Stockholm.
