The Russ College of Engineering and Technology’s Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at Ohio University invites applications for the full-time, benefits eligible position of Postdoctoral Researcher in Biomaterials. The Postdoctoral Researcher must have a strong background in biomaterial and/or composites. In this position, the researcher will have the opportunity to work on the fabrication of novel biomaterials for bone repair and regeneration. The Postdoctoral Researcher will be immersed in a multidisciplinary working environment that requires strong interpersonal skills and close collaborations with researchers from other colleges and universities.
Job Responsibilities include:
1. Leads the biomaterial preparation and
evaluation and collaborates with
researchers from other disciplines for
simulation and modeling;

The successful candidate must have an earned doctorate in Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or a related discipline.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent research capabilities as evidenced by a record of publication of results in peer-reviewed journals and external presentations at scientific conferences.
