    Job Overview

This position is created both to lead cross-disciplinary research on technology law and policy issues across programs and institutions at the university, and to assist with curriculum development for students interested in technology law and policy.

The fellow also will supervise two or more MLT students in experiential learning opportunities hosted by the Institute for Tech Law & Policy and/or the tech clinics, in projects that include cross-disciplinary research and advocacy.

    Work Interactions

This individual will reside in the tech clinics on the law campus so as to enable close collaboration with the faculty in those clinics, Laura Moy and Amanda Levendowski. The fellow also will collaborate with faculty at the law school as well as faculty in the Communications, Culture & Technology program in both their research and in curriculum development, and travel to Hilltop campus as necessary to assist in advising MLT students and consulting with CCT faculty.

In their day-to-day duties, the individual will work directly with MLT students, the directors of the Communications & Technology Law Clinic and the Intellectual Property and Information Policy Clinic, and students of the two clinics.

    Requirements and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

    • Law degree required

    • At least 2 years of experience in tech law and policy, including privacy and communications law and policy
