The iMBA program invites applicants for the position(s) of open rank, non-tenure track teaching faculty. Applicants will be hired through the Department of Business Administration, the Department of Finance or the Department of Accountancy at Gies College of Business.
SHORT DESCRIPTION SUMMARIZING POSITION FUNCTIONS
Teach a two week capstone course, support instructor in an eight week course and lead instructor in the following areas:
Strategic Leadership and Management
Managerial Economics and Business Analysis
Value Chain Management
Global Challenges in Business
Entrepreneurship and Strategic Innovation
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach at the graduate levels
Work with students to enhance learning outcomes through applications of curriculum content, and develop students’ professional skills
Engage in activities that maintain faculty qualifications under AACSB guidelines
Graduate degree or extensive professional experience required for Instructor, Adjunct and Clinical positions
PhD degree or dissertation near completion required for Lecturer, Teaching Professorial and Visiting Professorial positions
Demonstrated teaching effectiveness, strong research and leadership potential commensurate with position sought.
Salary will be commensurate with your teaching role, rank, experience and teaching load.
Instructor, Lecturer, Adjunct, Clinical Professorial, Visiting Professorial, and Teaching Professorial Faculty; non-tenure track; full and part-time.
