The College’s third president will be a strategic-thinking, action-oriented educator, with an established track record of successful, senior leadership at the dean level or above in a higher education institution. S/he will be a visionary champion for academic excellence; a charismatic, collaborative, caring, ethical professional; and an effective communicator who naturally builds community and partnerships. The new president will be talented in working with donors, public officials and the media. S/he will continue Seminole State’s superb tradition of celebrating diversity. An earned doctorate or a terminal degree is required at the time of appointment. Collegiate teaching experience is strongly preferred.

The President Search Committee will begin a review of applications immediately and continue work until an appointment is made. To assure full consideration, applications should be received by February 8, 2018, and include a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and four professional references with email addresses and telephone numbers.
