Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a distinguished record in university academic administration, a thorough understanding of issues facing higher education, experience with regional and program accreditation, a proven commitment to diversity, a record of enhancing the quality of student learning, experience with educational technologies, a record of support for research and for a liberal arts foundation, as well as for professional and graduate studies. The new provost must be effective as a visionary, innovative manager of people, programs, and budgets. The provost must has a strong commitment to the universityâ??s mission of changing lives through education, guided by the values of collaboration, communication, accountability, integrity, innovation, and service. The new provost is expected to assume office on July 1, 2017. The university is being assisted by Academic Search, Inc.
